8.1. Using the Keyed Cassette Lock

Unlocking/Disengaging

The keyed lock at the top of the cassette actuates the mechanical locks for the controlled substance bins. It will lock controlled substance bins wherever they are located in the cassette. The lock is disengaged when the keyed slot is horizontal (i.e. not aligned with the lock icon).

Locking/Engaging

To lock the controlled substance bins in the cassette, use the supplied key to turn the lock vertically (i.e. aligned with the lock icon). The key can be removed from the lock when finished.
