Identifying cabinets is done via MAC addresses.

Finding MAC Addressees on the Cabinet

The MAC address for a cabinet can be found be found on the cabinet itself. To do this, first select the settings icon on the top, middle portion of the Main User Screen. For more information on this, see Settings Menu. Next, select the IT Settings icon. After this is selected, select the Network Settings icon. Once this is opened, go to the information icon on the top right portion of the screen.

By selecting this, a screen will appear with the MAC address and other information. The MAC address can be found at the top of this screen under the MAC Address: header. This address can be used to match the cabinet on the cloud portal. Be sure to use the eth0 MAC address.

Matching the Cabinet on the Cloud Portal

Once the MAC address on the cabinet has been identified, this can be matched with the MAC address presented on the cloud portal. Under the Cabinet Administration menu, is a list of all of the associated cabinets with a company. The leftmost column on this list states each cabinet’s name.

By default, these names will be the MAC address for the cabinet. To identify a specific cabinet on the cloud, simply match the MAC address found on the cabinet itself with the MAC address listed in this column.
